When Do the French Kitten Summer Camps Start? And Where Are They Located?

Every year in August, The French Kitten Tutoring Service offers French Summer Camps to children in the Ottawa area. Here are the details about the 2026 camps:

The 1st camp runs from August 10th to August 14th, the second camp from August 17th to August 21st. Camp times are from 9 am in the morning till 4 pm in the afternoon.
The location is at 900 Greenbank Rd, unit 200, except for one field trip during the week.

What Are the Options for Before-Care and After-Care?

We understand that it’s not always easy to manage dropping kids off and picking them up from summer camps while at the same time getting to your own job or obligations. That’s why we offer:

Free before-care from 8:30 am to 9:00 am and free after-care from 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
An extra half hour of before-care and after-care is available for $50 a week, meaning from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you require more time, call us to make arrangements.

What Can My Child Expect from the French Kitten’s French Summer Camps?

During the French Summer Camps, your child can expect to spend time learning French with other students in the mornings, and spend time doing fun physical activities as well as arts and crafts in the afternoons.

Both French beginners and intermediate students are welcome.
Camps are immersion-style, designed to give an extra boost to French skills.
Focus on French lessons in the mornings, followed up by more physical activities and crafts in the afternoon.
One field trip during the week (examples: mini golf, movie theatre, petting farm, etc.)
